The UK Trauma Group is a managed clinical network of UK Traumatic Stress Services.
This web-site provides access to a selection of material which we hope gives relevant
and helpful information for the general public and for health professionals about
Posttraumatic Stress Reactions.

On 23 and 24 March 2009, in Edinburgh, there will be the inaugural conference of the newly established
UK Psychological Trauma Society (UKPTS). This is the opportunity to
join as a founder member of the first UK organisation looking to meet the needs of all
professionals working with people and communities affected by trauma.
We recognise the important needs for services for British soldiers and veterans.
We have recently added new information for veterans about
Combat Stress and the
Medical Assessment Programme.
These are listed under UK services. Veterans may also be referred to the other services listed here.
Please click here to see a statement on complex trauma treatment
prepared by a sub-group of UKTG, chaired by Walter Busuttil.
Please click here to see a
resolution on the interrogation of detainees of the Royal College of Psychiatrists prepared with support
from members of the UKTG.
Please email the webmaster if there are other
key links which we should include and email the chair of UKTG
if there are other services that should be listed.
We regret that we cannot offer individual advice about treatment.
